June 22, 2010 marked the one-year anniversary of the passage of the FDA law regarding regulation of tobacco products. New regulations this year include the prohibition of using words such as "low," "light," and "mild" on tobacco products. Read more about the new rules, and how the tobacco industry is reacting, here.

Northland Regional Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (NACSM)
The Northland Regional Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (NACSM) is a diverse group of professionals and students dedicated to the advancement of sports medicine and exercise science. The chapter seeks to communicate scientific information; provide stimulation and support for research; and foster relevant peer interaction and professional growth for students, faculty, clinicians, and other practitioners located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and parts of adjoining states and provinces.
International Association for Worksite Health Promotion
The International Association for Worksite Health Promotion (IAWHP) has been established as an Affiliate Society to the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
